To paint in an abstracted style and have the viewer captivated by the story your painting tells is to provide fabulous fuel for the imagination. Amherst Islands gentle landscape and back-in-time embrace are a magical source for inspiration. Spend the week painting both en plein air and in the studio. Learn more about holding on and letting go, design and simiplification, and about being the sole author of the stories your paintings have to tell. This is a Tri-Art sponsored workshop.

Claudia Jean McCabe, SCA, is a recognized Canadian painter, teacher, graphic designer, creator of musings, storyteller – and dreamer. Over the course of her artistic career she has participated, both as painter and juror, in numerous solo, featured, and group exhibitions at both provincial and national levels. An elected member of the Society of Canadian Artistsè Claudias paintings are held in private, corporations and government collections world wide.
