Photography- June 2-3-4-5 2011(Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Using the beautiful and unique surroundings of Amherst Island, you will create striking images while making the most of available light. For serious novice and more advanced digital photographers, this workshop will challenge you to photograph different subjects under varying lighting conditions from dawn through dusk.
Enjoy presentations on composition and design and on enhancing images. You will have the oppportunity to show and discuss your photographs with others while discussing examples of composition and sharing techniques. Studends are expected to use a tripod and understand the basics of shutter speed, aperture, depth of field and downloading images. You are encouraged to bring a laptop with photo adjustment software, if available.
Wayne McNulty is a largely self-taught professional photographer. He has participated in art shows locally as an artist, organizer, juror and has been guest artist ar Gallery 121 in Belleville and in the Prince Edward County Studio Tour. Wayne has recieved awards and honourable mentions at art shows in Prince Edward County, Belleville and Bancroft. His pictures have been included in area newspapers, magazines and calendars, as well as many other publications.
